About Southern Elsewhere

Southern Elsewhere is the music of Anne Rasmussen — born in Scotland, raised in Milford Haven in Wales, and long settled in Queensland, Australia. The name says it all: songs written from the far south, about the elsewheres she carries with her.

Everything is composed and produced digitally from her home studio in Hervey Bay — Celtic ambient and neoclassical pieces drawn from the harbours, hills and voices of the places that made her. Every album begins with a memory.
